Palm Beach County Behavioral Health Coalition

Susan Foley is a Project Manager with the Palm Beach County Behavioral Health Coalition, where she has been delivering impactful prevention presentations to the community since 2021. Her work focuses on engaging youth in healthy, positive activities to strengthen protective factors and reduce risk factors—an evidence-based approach to preventing the onset of substance use in teens. Through education on safe medication practices, Susan supports the Coalition’s mission to foster a healthier, safer Palm Beach County.

A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Susan has enjoyed a vibrant and creative career. Since 1985, she has served as the owner and lead Activator of Innovative Leisure, Inc., a recreation and special events company known for hosting picnics, parties, themed events, and team-building experiences.

Beyond her professional passions, Susan finds joy in teaching Jazzercise and embracing the outdoors—especially biking, kayaking, and soon, hiking. She currently lives in Lynchburg, Virginia, with her husband, close to her adult children and two beloved grandchildren.
